Dr. Lavender Monday's Presentation

[Dr. Lavender Monday's Point of View during the event] Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD. This is commonly associated to people who suffered great trauma in their lives that it keeps hunting them for a lifetime. People who are commonly susceptible are soldiers of wars, and common people who suffered abuse my means of verbal, physical, and s****l. I invented the Memo Pod to cure Alzheimer's Disease. However, there are a lot of things that it can also cure. It can also possibly enhance brain structure keeping it healthier and more adaptable. Aside from PTSD, I also seek to cure Depression that envelops almost 80% of mankind. 65% of the people from that 80% are not aware that they are suffering from it. More than 50 years ago... Our nation has been plagued by the appearance of supernatural entities known as demons that came from Hell and we thought that this is it, the end of the world. I wasn't born back then... But it is a subject matter too controversial to overlook. The war against the demons brought this world into a great depression and their exodus brought about the renaissance period of the generation. People always thought that the third world war was a battle between humans... some speculated it could be from extraterrestrials... while some others thought it would no longer happen. What a large portion of the population thought was the end of the world was World War III to the few. Our faiths have been questioned and put to the test. Religions worldwide have crumbled from the aftereffects of the revelation that has been made. New religions based from the events that occurred half a century ago are rising to popularity and the world had never been the same ever since. One question remains unsolved... What can this New Renaissance Period do to put an end to that Second Great Depression? The answer is simple... we innovate. We now know that parallel worlds, other worlds, other universes, other gods, and other Supreme Beings exist. We've become woken from the reality... a new reality that gave a lot of us... ... inspiration. This is what's inspired me to change the world, as the leading scientist and head of Illusions Research Institute. Together with your help, we can save this world from destruction! Thank you! There was a warm round of applause from the audience and spectators. "Thank you very much for that empowering speech, Dr. Lavender Monday. You truly are the forerunner of innovation! We will now proceed to the next part of the program. We've seen your questions Dr. Lavender, she is said it herself, would be answering a total of one hundred questions! The first question comes from Ruunji Alhati." "Good morning, Dr. Lavender. My question for you is about the machine's functions theoretically applicable to other context of the human brain. How sure are you about the success of this experiment in relation to the safety of the people?" "Thank you for that wonderful question. What do you think, Dr. Lavender?" "Yes, it is indeed a wonderful question Mr. Alhati. As for the safety of this experiment, we will be using the same protocol of safety precautions... as you can see which is flashed on the screen behind me... safety precautions we used in treating Alzheimer's Disease. This would include written consent from the participants we will be choosing randomly without internal bias of sorts. We will allow them to have their lawyers ready in case of unwanted or foul play, and finally we will be compensating them for their participation in the research experiment. For claustrophobic participants, they will be placed in an isolation room where the memo pod treatment would remain open to alleviate their fears. For those who are afraid of coffins or pods, they would be treated the same with the claustrophobic participants. For participants with panic and anxiety disorders, they will be mildly and safely sedated with multiple personnel at the bedside. We will also be providing them a detailed copy of their consent and contract about the entire procedure. Once the contract and consent is signed, it would mean that they would allow themselves for the greater good of this experiment. Finally, as a special precaution, during the experiment... there will be no invasive procedures involved and everything is being recorded. All results will be reported to the public immediately after the experiments." [Another round of applause was heard from its audience.] "That was a very satisfying answer, Dr. Lavender. Remember to read the consent and the contract before undertaking a procedure. Thank you Mr. Alhati, you may now take your seat. For the next question coming from Ms. Eunice Dominguez..." "Good morning, Dr. Lavender. How many participants will be needed for the procedure and how long will this experiment last?" "There will be 100 participants for this research and it will last up to 12 hours. It will start at 8 or 9 in the evening and it will end at 8 or 9 in the morning. We wanted this time frame to ensure that the participants will be at rest during the procedure. Memo Pod treatment for patients with Alzheimer's disease are done every night because at that point in time, patients are already about to take a rest and fall asleep. Because of this there we will be able to eliminate minor disturbances such as having toilet breaks. This would also prevent anxious participants to calm down under natural circumstances. That is all, thank you." [Her answer was again applauded by the audience.] ... ... ... ... ... ... "Dr. Lavender..." Dr. Mike phoned her in. "We already got your 20 samples." "That is good news, Dr. Mike. " she responded. "Begin with the experiment."
