I woke up in a car with a lovely scent floating around me. i rubbed my head looking up at paula who was driving my truck. "what happened?"
she jumped startled by me and something in me warmed, it was odd but i ignored it. "you got knocked out by jace" paula said as she pulled in front of the pack house turning off the engine. "where's avery?" i sat up looking around as memories of what happened flooded back to me.
Paula smiled " take it easy your still healing, and avery is with Nick " panic set it "Where!?" the sudden raise of my voice made paula flinch and i immediately apologized. "i-i don't know Nick said they had to talk and Avery went with Him. "
I rested a hand on Paula's shoulder to calm her and i felt a small twinge in my hand. "I'm sorry i have to go find her.
