Meanwhile, in the isolated space where Julius was trapped, he had finally seen everything the boss could throw at him in that room, which apart from the optical trick also included various mental attacks, increase in gravity and temperature. As the boss looked into the space through his eyes, he found Julius standing in one place, not moving or attempting anything, and with that he concluded that Julius had failed which made him a little happy, as he had succeeded in teaching the youngster a lesson. His happiness was short lived though as the thought of what would be done to him if Julius were to die killed his happiness in seconds, so he quickly tried to bring him back before anything serious happened. “Such basic tricks, but I have no more patience to spare. If he’s not going to show me any other thing, it means this is all he’s got.” Julius said as he sighed in disappointment. He had expected such an advanced formation to be more sophisticated in the traps department. Back at the office where the boss and the others were, Julius appeared before them in the office just before the boss finished initiating the return magic spell within the spell array to bring him back.

The boss almost made the mistake of thinking he was the one that brought him back, but immediately realized that he had only partially activated the spell, which means Julius came out by himself by seizing the opening created when he was activating the spell. ‘Impressive… He was ableto maintain consciousness and even seized an opportunity to escape.’

“Master! You’re back!” Nora said happily. She didn’t intend for her voice to be loud, but in the end she couldn’t control it.

“Ah, my husband is back and he’s unharmed just like I predicted. Hmph.”

The boss kept calm and remained silent trying to put up a front of superiority the best he could while Julius joined them at the spot where they sat after spawning near the door. He’s seat was the most luxurious among all that were there, and it didn’t take too long before the question was asked. ”How did these chairs get here? And who puts such luxurious chairs in this plain looking office? If one thing, they lack fashion sense.” As Julius said this, Emilia reacted a little physically as her cheeks brightened up a little. “Oh, so she made you do this huh? Not bad.”

Julius wasted little time from that point one. Ignoring everything that had happened up until now, he told the boss why they had come and requested for all the necessary paperwork to be done. They waited a bit before everything was completed and ready for use, all they needed was a means of identification and a plausible story, and with that they were prepared to face the guards at the gate.

“Ah yes, as you might have noticed, our origin is a little complicated, and as you are the only one who has seen my abilities… Actually, you haven’t.. but anyway. Since you are the best at your job in this region, I’m very sure you’ll be receiving plenty of requests regarding my information and that of those around me. Do well not to expose anything tangible, I suppose you understand? If somehow I find out that information leaked from you or your people… Death will be the last thing you fear.” As Julius spoke the last words, the control over the whole array surrounding the boss’s place was seized by Julius, and for around three seconds, the boss himself experienced a terrifying scene almost like a revelation, shown to him by Julius, and although it was only three seconds, for the boss it was at least fifteen minutes, if not more. At that moment, as the boss feel to his knees, he understood just how powerful of a being the man standing before him was. With that, Julius transferred himself and the others directly outside the small hut before returning the control over to the boss.

“Boss, let me help you up. We need to make our move immediately, we can’t have anybody threatening us like this. It’s unacceptable.” A demon who was in the room with him said as he helped him to his feet. As he stood up, his legs were still shaking a bit uncontrollably as he managed his way onto his seat.

“Shut up! We shall do no such thing. We shall do exactly as he says.”

“Why are you so terrified of him boss, he’s only one man! Surely we have many godlike demons who can end him.”

“I said shut up you fool, think first before you talk. That is no longer a being that even we demons can contend with, surely we have godlike demons who can stop him, but if two beings of such power were to fight, it will be disastrous.”

“AH.”

“Remember, when two elephants fight, it’s always the grass that suffers. We shall have to get rid of him eventually, but it definitely won’t be soon.” ‘Why do these strong people like pretending to be weak!??’ While the boss was recollecting himself after what he just witnessed, the demon by his side was preoccupied in his thoughts of what the f**k an elephant was.
