Today was wedding day and the entire pack was excited. The happiness and joy in the air were palpable. Everyone couldn’t help to be happy even Dia and Chase, who still haven’t had a moment alone to talk. Dia had been back for two weeks and they had both been busy with their own responsibilities to talk.
If Dia was being honest with herself and she wasn’t, she didn’t want to talk to him. Ever since her little outburst at the Twins birthday party she had been questioning herself. She had thought she was truly over Chase; all her bitterness had faded. Hell, she was 24 years old, a Queen to a whole people. For some reason being around Chase again made her feel like that rejected 18-year-old girl.
