Am quite popular so there are bound to be rumors but I was once a warm-hearted person before the betrayal I may have to say it hardened me and turned me to who i am today.
I think I should inform my secretary about my need of a P.A to get me someone as hard-working as her if she's got any using the intercom I sent for her minutes later she came to my office.
"Good day sir you requested my presence how may I be of help sir"
"Miss Whitlock I am in need of a new P.A who is dedicated to work, punctual and lastly who wouldn't flirt with me My schedules are getting tighter can you may be help with that"
"Sir I think I may have the perfect person for the job but she doesn't live here she's in Texas, I may have to convince her and it may take a whole week before she can get here so as to let her prepare for relocation and sort all things that may hinder her coming here"
"Ok ,I'll pay for the travel expense and keep me updated on it"
"Alright sir I'll keep you updated and she won't disappoint you sir"
That said and done she left my office now back to my f****d up life i know am handsome and all but that doesn't require all girls related drama I have been subjected to eversince becoming the Alpha and president of Sherlock Empire am 6'5 feet tall, blue eyes, bronze skin raven black hair well defined abs, chiselled jawline, structured nose but what do you expect of a werewolf and my twin sister is the girl version of me if we are of the same gender it would be had to tell us apart she's hot and gorgeous that she got men drooling and dropping at her feet we got those features from our mother late Luna Ophelia Sherlock and the eyecolor from our father former Alpha Derrick Sherlock founder of Sherlock Empire.
even though i've been on Vogue and other magazines it still doesn't count with the way girls act around me despite getting humiliated by me they never learn they still come flocking around me and I know a lot of them are after my wealth and status so many female werewolves are vying to be my Luna and that's only reserved for my mate if she ever shows up.
I wanted to make Floria my Luna then despite her not being my mate I was willing to risk it because i was so deeply in love with her but I thank the moongoddess I didn't make that grave mistake before I found out her motives.
This world we are in is full of secrets and creatures of the night like me and other species even though there are few humans who know about us and some believe us to be myths but we chose to live in secrets as not to expose our existence to the outside world and to always be myths to those who believe us to be and those who knew about us are bound by an oath to keep us secret.
A week later I was in my office sorting out some files when that annoying jerk sauntered in like he owned the place. even though he's my cousin and friend but he pisses me off such as times like this but he's been a great friend after Anthony my beta.
He never liked Floria and he was against the relationship I had with her and he and Anthony were the ones who found out her intentions.
And that's the reason he always teases me and I think he's got a good reason to gloat at me and now he's here just to piss me off i already have that feeling. And besides I can smell emotions because am a gifted Alpha so I already know what the asshole's up to even though I already knew his intentions I haven't gotten used to his taunts he always know what to do to get me irritated.
"What do you want Brandon" I said not looking up from my computer since he came in he's already seated like who seats without being offered a seat of course Brandon.
"Oh my dear Alpha I came to tell you I have been having sleepless nights because I've been in love with you since forever"
He said imitating the voice of Floria at the end and he succeed in getting me annoyed but I reeled it in, in an irritating tone i asked him
"I thought you had work"
He is the director of Sherlock Empire and I know about his schedule and that's one of the reasons I urgently need a P.A.
"Yeah I did,I just finished signing off some contract deals with Connan Deals and It was wrapped up quickly so I decide to come unwind here"
He said nonchalantly what did I say about him being annoying again I made a mistake he's despicable is my office a lounge or a club and I outrightly ask him
"Is my office a lounge or a club for you to come unwind"
He answers me with "yeah sort of"
Just then I caught the scent of Angelia approaching my office I remembered asking her about getting a new P.A I think she's here for that.
"Mr CEO I've gotten the job done so tomorrow she would be here"
"Ok I'll have her interviewed as to enlighten her about how things work here then as she may likely resume tommorow"
"Alright sir I'll take your leave then"
She said and left my office after she left I noticed Brandon looked awestruck if I am not mistaken he looks somehow Brandon has always been a playboy with female werewolves and even humans but this kind of look is something else and I noticed all the while Angelia was here he's has his gaze fixed on her he never took his eyes off her till she left and she's already left but he still seems deep in thought.
"who is that lady ? she's not a wolf right ?"
immediately he got a hold on himself he bombarded me with those questions what the hell Brandon does he wants to date my secretary are you kidding me
"yes she's human and she's my secretary why the questions why would you want to know if she's human or not you want to date and dump her like you all those dumb ladies who follows you about"
I asked him irritated and then he dropped a bombshell on me.
"No Kaizen you don't get it am feeling restless"
"And if you're feeling restless or broken how is that my concern"
I asked him getting already irritated and annoyed
"No Kaizen you don't understand the scent is emanating from her"
Now this guy has gone mental and he's pissing me off really like giving me riddles to play while am working because that's what it seems to me now I just kept asking him questions without waiting for an answer from him
"What scent Brandon ? have you gone mental ? have you eaten today ? did you dream of food or fantasize about it before coming here"
"I don't know how to explain this it doesn't seems real to me either but I know what am feeling kaizen this has never happened but it is what i think it is"
Ok now he seriously needs a physcriatrist I got fed up and sat down because I stood up out of frustration earlier when he started ranting I couldn't even focus on my work anymore when I had just diverted my attention from him to face my computer I heard him say
"She's my mate Kaizen"
