CHAPTER 3 : NO OFFICE ROMANCE

KAIZEN'S POV

"Brandon she's human she can't be"

"But the scent kaizen the scent is emanating from her"

"What scent ? what are you feeling Brandon tell me"

"The mate scent is coming from her and it still lingers in the air when she was here the scent was much stronger"

Angelia is his mate ? Brandon seems serious and he wouldn't joke with such a thing like a human and a werewolf is that even a thing.

"How possible is that Kaizen u said it just now she's human is that even possible"

He asked looking towards me ok like seriously Brandon even I the alpha has never heard of that in werewolf history a werewolf and human mates ?.

"I don't know Brandon even I've never heard of a human mate"

I replied him looking into the oblivion

"But her scent is driving me nuts Alpha I need answers and the most weird thing is I feel the mate bond towards her"

Ok now this is serious the playful Brandon is now looking thoughtful I'll really need to find out if this is true.

"But as impossible as it may seem I think she's mine i must find out it this true but am definitely not mistaken I need to go somewhere."

Looking determined he left my office I must confirm this because this is a really big deal with what I've learned and know of it's impossible to have a human mate because they are weak creatures most especially their females not that am discriminating but that's the truth they can't bear our pups they are too weak for that and they may die even with the female werewolves giving birth is not that easy.

Am aware about the existence of external mates but that only happens with the likes of witches,vampires, wizards and other were-animals.

But an external being a human that's something worth getting worked up over and bothered with.

Determined to find out more about external mate my first step was to ask my dad since he's older and he was an Alpha I think I will get a lead from that or probably answers so I mind-linked him asking him about a human and a werewolf being mates was that even a thing or is it possible and his response shocked me like I didn't expect such an answer.

He said it's possible but it's a very rare case like it can only happen with Three percent of hundreds percent of mates like if they are hundreds of werewolves and their mates they would only be three human mates and the last that occurred was like a thousand years ago ok now that's really rare.

He also made me aware that the scent won't be like that of two werewolves except if the human has been marked by their werewolf mates that's when the human would smell the mate scent and feel the mate bond the human would be able to hear their mate when they mind-link with them this is a whole lot to take in and digest like this is a really huge news.

And this man never bothered to let me know about it but with the kind of explanation he gives to me now even I myself would probably think that the human mate occurrence would never happen again.

So if Angelia turns out to be Brandon's mate what would she feel if she's been thrown into our world ? would she be able to cope with all the secret she would be exposed to ? or worse want to bear his pups ? this and more were the thoughts that came to my mind.

But dad said it's a rare case and if Angelia turns out to be Brandon's mate that means is happening again.

NIELLA'S POV

I inhale some fresh air as I alighted from the plane I can't believe am here in Australia and now I won't have a reason or situation to part from my best friend ever again.

It's been two months Angelia left Texas and started life here during those times I missed her so badly and I've been trying to take out time from my busy schedule at the diner me and Angelia worked despite being graduates we couldn't land our dream job and the owner of the diner Rosalind was my neighbor and a very good woman that I've been working with since I was sixteen years old and after graduating Angelia joined me there saying since she couldn't land her dream job that she would stay and help me at the diner and Rosalind pays the both of us.

and now an opportunity has landed me my dream job and also got me back together with my best friend.

So last week I got a call from Angelia telling me it is time I fulfill my promise to her I was surprised what promise ? I never made a promise to her did I ? I wondered.

She then told me that I got a job offer at her workplace as a P.A to her boss, Kaizen Gray Sherlock that man who looks like a Greek god banished from heaven because of being too beautiful.

Who doesn't know Kaizen Sherlock the CEO and president of Sherlock Empire because he is as famous as a Rolex wristwatch, they've got companies scattered all over the continent but the one here in Australia is his main office and now am privileged to be his P.A.

It all still seems like a dream to me somebody pinch me and that's what Angelia did, I didn't know i said that out loud, wait a minute when did she get here, she enveloped me in a hug like am some sort of a life-size teddy bear but i didn't mind .

"I've missed you so much baby dragon" she said still hugging me.

"Even I missed you mother dragon"

I replied her disengaging from the hug.

"And now we'll never be apart from eachother again from we'll go from home to work and vice versa"

"I thought I'll have my own apartment"

"Don't you dare Niella" she glared at me

"Have heard you Ma'm Angelia Maureen Whitlock" I said giving her a mock bow I was just pulling her legs I wouldn't want to live apart from her even though I would really want my own space but with Angelia that's a NO so we board a cab and head to her house Oops ! our house.

After we got home she helped me in arranging my things in my room she got a two bedroom apartment because of me saying she knows we are gonna live together until we are both married that's true though but with the super hyper Angelia my privacy is fast becoming a publicity.

After we were done settling things down in the house and making the room my space she starts gisting me about what I've missed since she came here she started by telling me what i've missed when we were away from eachother.

She told me things i need to know about my soon to begin work like how Kaizen hates women especially those that act coquettish around him or flirt with him he never hesitates to fire them and his most important rule "NO OFFICE ROMANCE" she went on telling me about the do's and do not's of the company.

Ok like if not because Kaizen's secretary is seated right in front of me telling me all this I wouldn't believe it if i should hear this from an outsider now I need to hold my horses and reel in any giddy feelings I may be having and let my working with him be only professional ethics and nothing more but would I be able to cope right in front of my crush like I'll always be him every time.

Angelia then told me about his handsome cousin Brandon Sherlock like seriously I never knew he has a famous cousin I once came across him on a magazine's front cover that was my first time knowing him I knew he was a Sherlock but i never knew he was Kaizen Sherlock's cousin like is their ancestor a demigod because both men are attractive but not as hot as Kaizen I never knew beautiful men exist but Kaizen confirm their existence and she also told me something interesting.
