As the best sniper in Credonia, David knew a thing or two about disguise. The best places for one to take cover are the least expected to be. In his current situation, he did not choose a far place for a hide out. He was lying low at their old working lair. He needed to make contact with his team. He knew the CPSD agents were aware of his tricks with his partner as the director. Showing up in one of his friend’s house would have gotten him captured at once or even worse.
