~Chapter Three~

I wake up to the ringing in my head,I wince in pain while trying to shut my eyes again,it ain't working it hurts like hell. I gradually sit up on the bed,the time is 11:45am, I remember passing out last night,I let out a grudge sigh while I go to make hot cocoa to try to calm my head down.

How in the hell is someone that is barely holding unto life meant to create a power drug,I let out another sigh as I drink the cocoa suddenly theirs a loud thud on the kitchen window,I turn to see Brian peering through"Hey let me in" he mutters.I stagger to unlock the door,

"Jeez the heat today is killing me,I need some water" Brian says as he stumbles into the house and starts ransacking the fridge.

"Eww what happened to you? You look like you almost drowned" he mutters with his mouth mouth full.

"Eww??, thanks for the flattering compliment"I roll my eyes

"Sorry I didn't exactly mean too hurt you but you look dead no offense" he chips in again.

"Do you always say no offense,right before you throw shade?"

"In my defense you do look weird,hey!, did something happen?

Did he do this to you????,goddamit Blu I should kick his ass already.

"Yo chill,it's nothing,I just didn't get enough sleep after working double shifts at the clubhouse" I say

"I'm gonna pretend like you telling the truth." he retorts

"Yh Whatever" I say looking down at my cocoa mug

"Hey,how about we do something fun today to relieve you from stress......uhhhm we could stop by the park or something" He happily says,

"The park??? We haven't been to the park since never,why go there now?". I ask while my mind quickly flashes back to the point where my supposed mom drops me at the Park's Marygold round.

"Uhmmm I think I'd pass Brian,don't feel up for it" I slowly add.

"C'mon B,you'd love it away from here I guess just for a lil while mamacita,pretty puhlease" he says while trying to be cute.

"Fine let's go but we ain't staying long there"

"Yes I promise" he jumps

"Let me go take a shower and meet you right out" I reply

"You might wanna take your time in there,you smell a bit funky" he says as he covers his nose.

I smack his arm,causing him to yelp then I give him a stank eye as I pass to get ready.

The park isn't like my visions,this time there a lot of people and it seems a lot cooler than I expected.Brian is leading the way,his happier than I am,I feel he needed this more than I did.We settle for a bench near a white old couple interlocking hands and standing.

"That could be us one day" Brian says nodding his head towards the couple.

"Too bad,I'd probably kill you before you live that long" I sassily retort

"Ouch that hurt" he half jokes

"So what does one do here anyway,just a bunch of upper greenwooders kissing each others asses and chilling or what?" I complain.

"C'mon Blu, stop being a fun sponge"

"What ! me a fun sponge?Take that back this instant" I command

"I won't till you prove me wrong"He gets up from the bench," care to have some fun Blu Stones"

I reluctantly follow him,

"let's play catch the frisbee"he suggests

"Don't you need a dog for that?" I ask again.

"Yeah, you could be the dog" he laughs

I pass him a stank eye then he stops laughing immediately knowing it's better to avoid getting on my nerves.

"C'mon fun Blu" he adds sweetingly.

"Fine, get the goddamn Frisbee"I yell

"Yes give me two seconds" he says as he runs off to go find a frisbee.

He gets back with the frisbee and we proceed the game with me wining the rounds of tosses.

"Yo, you seem to be getting a hang of this, I'd like to see you catch this" Brian says as he throws the frisbee hard then out of fright I duck,it hits the Marygold round and falls there.

"Ouu my bad, Blu are you okay?"

"Yeah I guess" I say

"Alright go get the Frisbee" he replies

"Briannnnn,why do I have to get it,I mean you threw it so you're meant to get it" I wince,

"But I threw it at you and you couldn't catch so it's meant to be you" he dictates.

I walk away to get frisbee,hating his victory smile, like he out here doing the most frr.I get to the Marygold round shooing the kids away as I try to reach for the frisbee,immediately like I'm in a trance my head hurts,I realise am about to have a vision again,I close my eyes when I open them,I'm still at the park but not the happy park, I see the woman with the baby again,I mutter the words"Mum?".
