3 Chapter 3 - Lubongo
Jack checked his gear and counted his magazines, when he was satisfied that everything was there, he swung his backpack over his shoulders. He walked over to where pops stood at the open door and gave him a hug then led his team out the door and followed the footpath towards the main gate of the small army camp at Okongwati.
The other guys followed his example and hugged pops before exiting and when William who was the last to leave, disappeared into the darkness, the old man bowed his head and prayed that they would be returned safely.
The security guards opened the gate and saluted the captains as Jack led them out and a few seconds later they disappeared into the African darkness.
