Chapter 24Gil spent the next two days in a blur. From her place back to Tilly’s, and then back again, she was sure that she’d worn out at least two pairs of sandals with all her walking. Not to mention the fact that she’d also had to navigate several stops off at Dean’s house, all while avoiding Scott just in case he saw the anniversary present. She’d also needed to call Scott, and visit him at the tourism office several times to help promote the show, all without giving away his present, too.
Basically, Gil was tired. She wasn’t sure what time it was anymore, or if she’d eaten anything. It was only her occasional glimpses at her phone, when she’d also get updates from Selene in addition to everyone else on the project that righted her. And that was mostly Selene.
