“Mother. Father.” I saw, bowing deeply to my parents who are currently sitting on the thrones in the throne room.
While I was hoping that this would be an informal visit, I was surprised to find that we were meeting them in the throne room. As this is the process when meeting diplomats or other species visiting the territory, but then I remembered that Brad is with us, so my parents probably want to follow protocol.
“It is good to see you son, it has been a while.” Father says, he has his king voice on which means I am in trouble.
“Father, mother.” I bow again. “Sorry for my long absence, I was off dealing with the aftermath of Kohaku and Shirley.” I reply honestly.
“Nonsense, you ran from it rather than dealing with it.” My father says, his tongue is still as sharp as ever I
