Clara POV The village square thrummed with life, the full moon casting a molten silver glow over the cobblestones, the lanterns’ golden light flickering like fireflies, the air alive with the scents of roasted venison, sweet cider, and the wild tang of pine. My head buzzed pleasantly, the cider’s warmth curling through me, my laughter mingling with Ben’s as we swayed on the dance floor, his hand warm in mine, his green eyes glinting with a mischief that set my heart racing. The full moon called to my wolf, her purr a vibrant hum in my chest, her senses sharp, her spirit wild under the lunar pull, urging me closer to Ben, his earthy pine scent intoxicating, his touch a spark that lit me up.
