AVA “Someone followed you from the hotel.” Daniel’s voice came from behind me as I stood before the mirror, adjusting the sleeve of my dress. I met his eyes through the reflection. “Only one?” His expression hardened slightly. “You noticed.” “I expected it,” I replied calmly, turning to face him. “Julian doesn’t trust what he doesn’t understand.
