"I heard of a man who had the same powers as me, super speed." You told Tony.
You were sat in the Avengers headquarters after Tony Stark had found you. You were in hiding, hiding from the people who experimented on you.
"The men, they wanted someone with his speed to help rob banks and jewellery stores. I was their lab rat." You continued.
"How fast can you go?" Tony asked whilst typing something on a computer that looks like it's from 3017.
"270 miles per hour. I'm sure I can go faster but I've never tried."
"The men who tested on you, do you know any of them." A boy around your age asked, you assumed he was Tony's assistant.
"One of them was my father. He needed money and would do anything to get it." You almost whispered.
"You know we could use someone like you. You could really help us, you could easily get civilians out of danger before it's too late." Tony tapped his pen on his desk.
"Oh no, I don't want everyone knowing what I can do. I have family that could easily be put in danger of people know what I can do." You panicked.
"Why not wear a mask like y-you know that Spider-Man." The boy stuttered. "I'm Peter by the way, Tony forgot to introduce me."
"Nice to meet you." You looked Peter up and down. You could tell he's hiding something, then you saw it. "So you're Spider-Man. You're a bit young, surely you should be Spider-Boy."
"Where, where would you get an idea like that?" Peter stuttered once again.
"The red and blue sleeve poking out from under your shirt."
"s**t" Peter mumbled.
"Are you willing to help us? We will make sure that no one finds out your identity." Tony practically begged.
"Sure, why not."
One week later
All you could hear was gun shots and screams. Your priority was to get all of the innocent people away from the c*****e whilst the Avengers fought off the 'bad guys'.
"Listen to me, I am going to get you out of here and back to your mother but I need you to trust me. Can you do that for me?" The little girl nodded at you, tears pouring down her face. "Now we're gonna be going really fast so hold on real tight."
The girl wrapped her arms around your neck as you began to run. You successfully dodged every bullet shot at you.
"Thank you so much." The woman cried as you handed her daughter to her.
You turned around to see Peter, or rather Spider-Man, struggling to fight off one of the unknown men.
Over the past week you and Peter had been inseparable. Being the only two teenagers on the team you were bound to become close.
Flashback - two days ago
"And here is your ice cream." You smiled placing the mint ice cream in front of Peter.
"Thirteen seconds, a new record." Peter smiled.
"You are welcome." You smiled back.
There was an awkward silence between you two, it'd been happening a lot.
What you didn't know is all Peter wanted to do is kiss you. Ever since he first laid eyes on you he knew you'd be the death of him.
His favourite thing about you were your eyes, how they'd light up when you ran faster that you had done before. He loved your smile as well, how he had the ability to make you smile.
"Peter, you okay? You zoned out for a minute." You placed your hand on his shoulder.
"Sorry, yeah I'm fine." Peter sat down at his desk whilst you leant against it crossing your arms over your chest.
"What's on your mind?"
"Honestly, you." Peter shyly admitted.
This was your moment. You had the same thoughts as Peter, you could not get him out of your head. His stutter whenever he got nervous, the fact he refused to call Tony anything other than Mr. Stark and those goddamn abs, they drove you crazy.
You placed your hand on Peter's cheek and placed a light kiss on his lips.
"I've g-got to go." You stuttered before running out of the room at 250 miles per hour.
That was the last time you spoke to him. Now you were watching people shoot at him as he desperately tried to dodge them.
"Peter!" You shouted before running to help him at approximately 350 miles per hour.
You grabbed Peter's hand and continued to run until you were safe.
"You saved me." Peter said as you clutched onto your hip.
"No!" Was the last thing you heard before you were surrounded by darkness.
