Jenna checked the sensors and found another Tagrale receding behind the Defender, as she’d expected. What she hadn’t expected was the massive gas giant so close it filled a third of the view. Brilliant bands of red and orange swirled across its surface, with a small near circle of intense purple visible on the right. Small compared to the whole planet, but still massive.
The star for the system was shining with an intense light, far brighter than she’d have expected for the size it appeared. After a short pause the Defender’s systems tagged it as a blue giant, destined to burn brightly and die young.
The Tagrale was glowing like the other two she’d seen, but it was hard to see with it being lit up by the bright gas giant and star. It matched the three previous Tagrales she knew
