She reached space near the Tagrale without incident, watching the massive structure become visible before the ship’s sensors could begin to scan it. She’d recalled the probes when she set course for the Tagrale so she no longer had the benefit of their much longer range, but if there was anything she had to fight at the Tagrale she didn’t want to risk losing them. Especially if she had to leave in a hurry.
Finally the ship’s sensors were able to reach the Tagrale and confirm there were no other ships near it. As she drew closer the sensors showed she was still alone.
She was a little disappointed. Another ship wouldn’t necessarily have been hostile, and even if it was it would at least show the Tagrale was active and could be used.
