Patching in the equipment took less than thirty minutes. It went quickly because the consoles had clearly been designed to allow exactly that type of patching. That raised more questions Jenna had no answers for. Still, she could appreciate it even if she didn’t understand the reasoning behind it. The thought of having to fully pull the consoles apart and start wiring into them was not far off terrifying when joined with the fact those same consoles would be directing the incredible energies of the Tagrale. She ran through one last set of checks to be sure she hadn’t missed anything, then used her datapad to link to the Defender and ensure it could interface with each of the consoles. Everything came back green. She walked the control room one more time to make sure she hadn’t left
