The area of the Tagrale she needed to visit to get it working was far from the control room. Jenna returned to the Defender to make the journey rather than staying in the shuttle. Once in the right area she switched back to the shuttle once again, thankful she wouldn’t need to gain access to the inside of the Tagrale. The problem area was shown as being on the surface.
As the shuttle left the Defender she still felt nervous. The Defender was her oasis of safety. Probably the only thing that could keep her alive in this system. Leaving it with no one aboard just didn’t feel right.
She shook her head at that thought. Would she be better off if there were people aboard? Not judging by her recent experiences! At least with an empty ship there was no one to betray her.
