As soon as the Tagrale’s inner airlock door opened Jenna started to review the information from the Defender. She studied it grimly as the outer door closed and the atmosphere cycled out. By the time the outer door opened she was caught up on what was going on.
The Defender had been attacked by the group of ships she’d seen before entering the Tagrale. There was now only one large ship and one small remaining. The rest had succumbed to the vagaries of space around the Tagrale. Clouds of wreckage marked where each had met its end.
