Laranth was a populous system. It had three habitable planets. Then there were two gas giants each boasting several large moons and dozens which were smaller. As if that wasn’t enough, there were twelve other planets.
And there were people everywhere, based on the multiple overlapping comms signals. Not in the gas giants, but on the large moons around them. On and around all the planets except the closest to the star. Jenna was sure it was only the fact the planet skimmed almost through the star’s outer layers that dissuaded settlement there. People had spread everywhere. If ever there was a system where she could slip in unnoticed, maybe even make a life for herself, it was Laranth.
