Strangely, Jenna felt less worried travelling to the object than she had when sending the empty shuttle. She wasn’t sure why. Maybe it was because she’d already sent the shuttle over without any hostile reaction. Or maybe it was that she at least felt she could do something here if things went wrong.
She kept the approach to the same slow speed as she had before. It was frustrating, but it still felt important not to appear threatening. It also made the flight seem to stretch out way beyond the nine minutes it actually took. By the time the shuttle drew up near to the object’s airlock she was twitchy as hell.
