I turned back toward the buffet table, and gasped. Ryan stood next to me, decked out in a tux with his unruly blond hair combed. On Derek, the tux was expected, but on Ryan... Well, he kind of took my breath away. He looked so hot that it took me a second to notice his flushed face and an angry spark in his blue eyes.
Behind him stood Kendra and a bunch of other people, all gawking.
Heat sprang to my cheeks as I realized that they had probably all just seen Derek kissing my hand. I forced a smile, my gaze straying to Kendra with a help me look.
Kendra cleared her throat as she stepped past Ryan. "Jasmine, this is Ryan's mom and dad. Everyone, this is Jasmine."
