Marco held onto Mia and wasn’t going to let her go, he had finally found his mate, and even if the King himself tried to take her away, he would put up a fight. Mia looked deep into his chocolate brown eyes and saw him thinking.
“What are you thinking about Alpha Marco?” She smiled up at him as she inhaled his manly scent. “It’s Marco to you, little one,” he lovingly said. His hand brushed her cheek as she held onto him tightly. “I’m thinking how lucky I am to have you. My soft, smart, and loving mate.” That wasn’t all he was thinking, but he didn’t want to worry his young mate. He knew he would have a hard time with his friend accepting that his daughter was made just for him, but Sadie was so adamant about bonds she could smooth over his rage.
