Jack I took Rosalie’s bloodied body from the floor. Most of our closest friends and my parents stood at the door, waiting to see what I would do next. Cradling her in my arms like a baby and grabbing a blanket that was still splattered with blood, I covered her so no wandering eyes could lay on her. Walking out the door silently, everyone parted in the hallway as I walked down to her old room, the room she only spent a few days in before the bond finally took over and she started to trust me. The walls were still painted the baby pink that she loved, the room had been kept exactly how she decorated it the first few nights here. Her small plants were by the window, the cat bed for her departed cat, and the few old pieces of clothing from her old life still hung in the closet. Looking down
