Sadie
The sound of howling and barking flooded my ears. The whole mansion shook as the wolves ran across the lawn, leaving paw prints behind. Vampires jumped from the rooftops, attacking the wolves with all their force. There were hundreds of wolves running as a sea of darkness crept across the moonlit grass.
Out of all the wolves, I could see Seth’s eyes never leave my window as he ran across the yard. I pounded on the glass, trying to have Seth hear me when I was gripped abruptly by the arm. With the tightness of his grip, I knew I was going to have bruises on my arm.
Drago’s eyes were red, and his features were stone cold as he looked me up and down. Fear rose within me as he gripped me by the neck. I quickly threw my hands around his wrists to pry them off.
