I smiled and shook my head. “No, it’s my company and I can do that. I own it.”
“Kylian, you can’t take my company away from me. You know how much it means to me.”
I shook my head. I could see the sadness in her eyes. I couldn’t let myself fall for her trap. Not again. “I’m sorry, we had an arrangement. You failed to uphold your part. Therefore, you’re fired, and I would really prefer never to see you again.”
