  My eyes were burning from staring at Christian's laptop screen for six hours straight, but I couldn't stop scrolling through supernatural legal databases.   "Find anything useful?" Christian asked, setting a mug of coffee next to me along with a stack of ancient-looking books that smelled like dust and old leather.
