“Even got Si to do it as well, didn’t I?” she slapped the young lad beside her on the chest as she spoke.
Si, for his part, kept his hands thrust deep in the caverns of his pockets, shrugging his shoulders and grunting in reply. “I just did what you told me to,” he offered.
“Well… thank you,” Victoria said to him. She turned to the others. “Sorry, everyone. This is Kayleigh, Kayleigh Morris. Madison introduced us.”
