The fairly King was taller than all the rest of his people. Even seated upon his small throne they could tell that he was much taller than the queen. It would seem that the Archangels even as fairies were taller and larger than their peoples, other than the cherubim. The small party stood looking over the low walls of the gazebo. Hammerhand and Atungitok had pulled up chairs so they could see over the walls and even then, only Atungitok’s eyes and nose were visible as they all stared wide-eyed at the parade of glowing fairies. The fairy procession stopped at a signal from the King. He stood and took his wife’s hand and they flapped their wings and flew towards the entrance of the gazebo.
