Her question hit me like a bomb and I became uncomfortable.

His answer made me feel bad and I felt like crying.

I held myself till after I turned away from him and I felt my tears drop.

The journey was long and stressful.

Ava went to her own apartment while me and Jake went to ours.

We did many arrangements before going to bed.

When I got home, I couldn't find Jake.

He served me dinner and I ate, after that I worked on some files before going to have a good night sleep.

Jeffrey asked me out on a dinner date and I accepted without hesitation.

I brought out a gown that exposed my body, parked my hair beautiful applied little makeup before heading out.

"where are you going" Ava who just came in asked making Jake turn.

"am going on a dinner date with Jeffrey" I replied proudly.

"my friend is really lucky, if Fred could see you right now, he would have fallen in love with you" she said making me blush.

I didn't like the idea of going to see Jeff because he was my rival and I didn't like him.

He likes investing with us and I wish that I could just cut him off.

It's 10:45 already and she's not back.

I tried going to sleep but couldn't because My Heart was boiling.

Just then she walked in.

"I just entered inside my house, thanks for today, you really made my day" she said over the phone and it made me angry.

"why are you coming home now?" I asked.

"you don't right the right to question me because am the one accommodating you in my house" she said rudely.

She wanted to leave but I drew her back.

"why did you expose your body so much huh" I asked angrily.

"stop asking me that, you aren't my boyfriend or lover" she tried moving again but I held her tightly.

"am not letting you go except you promise me not to go out with him" I said.

My insider told me that he saw Jake and gave me all the details I needed.

I packed my things and came back home.

I walked to the apartment that he said he saw Kelly in and I quickly went there.

"thank goodness that the door isn't lock, am going to surprise him" I said smiling.

Immediately I opened the door, I received the shock of my life.

Fred was confessing his feelings to a girl that wasn't up to my standard.

The way they kissed made me she'd tears.

"I won't let another woman take him away from me" I swore cleaning my tears.

I closed the door as I headed back to the car.
