Lucky for Hugo, I quickly spotted my mates running toward us after he playfully tackled me into the water, so I ran to join them before they could attack him. I held my hands up in front of them, and they abruptly stopped, growling and glaring past my shoulder. I panted for breath before I could speak.
"He's Jay's brother. He was just being playful. I tackled him into the water first, I swear it was nothing more," I exclaimed with a sigh.
"He touched your waist," Hayes hissed.
"And I touched his chest when I shoved him the first time," I retorted quickly. Then I added, "What are you all doing here anyway? I thought you had an important meeting you couldn't miss."
