More tests were conducted on the patients and the results recorded were not that pleasing. Marcus, one of the scientists was instructed to take a sample of saliva from all the infected. He geared up and went on with the task. Before he even began, the unexpected happened.

"f**k! He bit me", Marcus shouted as the other scientists rushed to help him. They restrained the patient and disinfected Marcus' wound. "Damn! What's up with this dude, I can't believe he bit me". The other patients started acting aggressively on seeing one of them being restrained.They began smashing their heads on the glass wall in an attempt to free themselves.

On seeing this, Marcus and the other scientists rushed to their secured lab for safety. "I think we should release sleeping gas into their cubes to calm them down before they seriously injure themselves", Apollo suggested. They did so and the infected fell into deep slumber which could possibly last for two hours tops. Zeke, the head scientist filled with fear contacted the state officials and told them about the incident. He threatened to quit if no soldiers were sent to his facility to ensure their safety.

Marcus on the other hand began sweating profusely with his eyes bulging out, he fell down and stayed still for a couple of minutes before getting up. His body had completely changed similarly to the other infected. On seeing this, the other scientists who were now locked in with him in the lab started freaking out. They ran into one corner leaving Marcus at the middle of the lab. Apollo tried talking to Marcus asking him if he was alright. "I don't feel so well", Marcus replied as he stared into Apollos eyes.

Zeke sneaked up on him from behind as Apollo distracted him in conversation and injected him with a sleeping drug. Marcus began feeling nauseous and he fell down. They tied him up on a chair and kept him at a far distance." I think we created a serious virus by trying to treat the green mutation patients and its turning them into monsters", Apollo said.
