Alonzo remained silent and still, but continued to watch him intently. Garner, who enjoying looking into the deep pools of Alonzo’s dark eyes, felt bathed in pleasure. But, as he continued to have his hand held against the other man’s chest, he became aware of an uncomfortable sense that something was wrong. What was it? He felt the answer come, slowly, hesitantly, like a bubble rising to the surface. A moment later he gasped and wrenched his hand away. Almost he rose to his feet.
