Mia's POV
I pulled myself away from Colin in a flutter of embarrassment. What had I just done?
He smirked in amusement. "Well, that was unexpected."
I could feel the heat rising in my cheeks as I stared at the floor. "Colin, I am so sorry. I don't know what came over me." I spluttered, unsure how to explain myself, even though kissing him and being in his arms made my heart race excitedly, and my stomach do some crazy somersaults. Everything had happened so fast, my head was chaotic from hearing from my family, the cheating and being around Colin.
I hadn't been thinking straight. The kiss had just happened, but I found myself wanting more. I turned away from Colin and winced at the stupidity of myself.
