"Hey pretty," A boy, who I never know the name greeted and blinked his flirty eyes at me. He leaned on the lockers, which was Matt's locker. He looked handsome with his blonde hair slicked back and bleached teeth. His jaw was sharp as knife and he has dimples on both of his cheeks.
"Hi," I greeted back, a slight smile drawn on my face. I paced to my locker, which located beside Matt's. I picked out my Spanish and Calculus textbook, inserted it on my bag. My right hand slowly shoved the lockers but my eyes leered to him. When our eyes met, I shifted my eyeball and looking straight to my locker.
I walked to my first class, leaving him standing there. Being caught leer at him has delivered me some heart attack. He was handsome but only Matt could melt my heart and made me fell in love with him again and again. I didn't know what tricked he used at me. He is my prince charming and the king of my heart.
When I reached my lovely calculus classes, it was only Ava there. I dropped my bag on the table beside Ava's and plopped to the chair. Students are usually spending time outside until the teachers were five meter away from them and they bursted in the class automatically plop to the random place.
I slid my phone on the table, let Ava looked and showed her the message that I have gotten since last week. 90% of them were boys, 6% of them were girl and 4% of them called themselves as my secret admire. She shook her head and we sighed together. I couldn't suspect any students here whose has shared my phone number to the boys and girl and my secret admire.
"It is fun to have 'secret admire'?" Ava asked she looked curious and interested with something anonymous.
"Yeah, but they're bit annoying," I mumbled and turned off my phone. I slid my phone back on my pocket and let out another sigh. I positioned my left elbows on the table and rested my face on my warm palm. "They're like paparazzi. They know where my house, my class schedule, and my car license plate. This is terrifying."
"Well that's not good," Ava said, shook her head from her good expectations after been hit by reality.
The bell finally rang, students bursted in the door because Mr. Calculus, ugh no, Mr. George has zero tolerance for everything. It was obvious Mr. George was the strictest teacher ever.
It was a strange day. We have wait for half an hour and Mr. George still haven't entered our class. When i raised my head, scanning the whole class. Half of the class were sleeping.
"Where's Mr. George ? Where's Matt too ?" I heard David mumbled, he was teasing Cara because she was always know where Matt was.
"That's not my business," Cara growled and looked at her iPhone again. She was watching make up tutorial on youtube with Betty and Kelly.
"Zoe, where're them ?" David asked me. I turned my head back and arched my eyebrow, encoded him to repeat his question. He sighed, "Where's Mr. George and Matt ?" He asked once more. I shrugged. "Why don't you go to his office ?"
"Should I ?" I asked back, because usually the whole class would blame me for it.
"Yeah, i'll defend you," He said and flirty blinked his eyes.
I rose up from my seat and left the class. I walked to the silent hallway passed class to class. My heart was beating faster as i walked across principal room but no one was there.
I walked and walked, until I heard two people yelling at each other. My ears were busy finding the voices. I walked to the garden from the cafeteria and found Mr. George with Principal stood behind the door.
“Morning sir, umm, now is your period,” I said with super fake smile on my face. He didn’t know that I was super afraid of him.
“Finally you come !” The principal, Mr. Jones said. He dragged me to the middle so i could see what happened outside the door. “See, they’re fighting about you ! Go and stop them.”
I shook my head, I was about to say something but Mr. Jones was fast enough to shoved my small body out and closed the door. I was pondering why they only stood there, why they didn’t stop them ?
Absent minded me forgot that Matt dad owned the school. They couldn’t really do something to Matt. They let it slip all the time.
I dropped my jaw and stood frozen when I saw Matt shoved the blonde guy that greeted me this morning to the big tree. His left hands held him in place and his right hands slowly formed a fist.
“You f*****g flirt with my girl !” Matt yelled in front of the blonde guy face. The blonde guy widened his eyes, challenged Matt.
I softly hit my forehead and sighed.
“He’s not yours Matt !” The blonde guy yelled back to Matt and shoved Matt away.
Matt started to breathe heavily and clenched both of his fist. He pushed the blonde guy to the tree forcefully and threw a fist to his face. The blonde guy groaned and fell down to the grass, his left hands touched the place where Matt just hit him. Matt stood arrogantly there, he crossed his arms and a smirked drawn on his face.
I stood there, still with my jaw dropped. My heart jumped a beat, I squeaked silently and my hand covered my mouth constantly as Matt kicked him, right on his chest for two times and his stomach once.
I knew my presence was small and they might not realize I was standing there, watching their fight. I didn’t really know what do to. Tears flocked on the tip of my eyes, ready to fall down. I felt so useless as i knew, i couldn’t do anything.
I took a deep breathe and gathered all my courage to approached them. I stomped to where Matt stood.
“Matt,” I yelled angrily as the blood boiling on my head. I was very disappointed with him. My heart shattered to pieces. How could he do this to this blonde guy.
“Z-zoe,” He stuttered with astonishment. Maybe he never thought how I could be there.
“I hate you,” I yelled and helped the blonde guy to stand. He moaned in pain and successfully stood. His right hands stayed on his chest. “Can you walk ?”
He nodded. I escorted him to the school infirmary without looking back at Matt. I was swimming in disappointment and part of me was hoping not to see him anymore.
When we entered the cafeteria. Mr. George and Mr. Jones weren’t there anymore. So we walked straight to infirmary. I told the nurse every single things that happened and left him alone there.
I went inside the restroom and cried loudly there, blaming myself. I washed my face and went back to my class.
I entered the class back with swollen eyes and students mumbled, “What happened to her ?”
“Do you need time to be alone ?” Mr. George asked me.
I shook my head, Matt wasn’t there either. I focused on the whiteboard. Not in the mood to talked to anyone.

“Zoe,” I heard Matt voices hummed on my eardrums. I ignore the voices and walked straight to my lockers.
When i saw his figures. I sprinted to my car, leaving him alone. It was the first time I avoided him for a day.
I didn’t reply his message, nor his call. I rested myself on my bed, heartbreaks music hummed loudly from my speakers.
My feeling was complicated, i didn’t know how to explained it. Physically i smile but emotionally, i was in pain.
My maid knocked my door for three times and entered my room cause i gave no answer. “Mr. Torres is here.”
“Tell him to go home,” I said heartlessly.
“He stand outside Ma’am and it’s raining,” My maid said.
“I DON’T CARE. I SAY TELL HIM TO GO HOME, YOU TELL HIM TO GO HOME,” I yelled. My maid nodded in quail and left my room.
I locked my door and looked at the window. He refused to went home. I caught him looking at my windows. So I closed the curtain and sleep from exhaustion, leaving him standing in the rain.
