I wake up the next morning and head down to training. This time it won’t be Beta Brendan running the training, it will now be Liam. Brendan has offered to stay around for a month to ensure Liam is comfortable and fully competent in his abilities. Which we’re all really grateful for. We train for 4 hours and Liam does amazingly. He has clearly been paying attention to his father all these years and has taken to it perfectly. At the end of the training session, we make our way to the packhouse for breakfast. That’s where I see her. She’s currently setting the table ready for us all. I walk into the kitchen, “Morning Aurelia, would you like a hand with some of this?” I ask. She freezes and looks at me clearly confused as to why I’ve suddenly decided to offer her help after all these years.
