“I went down to visit the rogue prisoners today.” Skyler started, Zenith growled in my head. I knew she went down there but I was still angry she did. The rogues were dangerous. I grumpily grabbed a taco and ate it. Skyler noticed my unhappiness about the situation. “Jack went with me, I was safe. I just want to check up on the prisoner I treated.”
I couldn’t help the growl that slipped out as I spoke. “I know you were with Jack. But that doesn’t mean I like the situation you were in.”
