Skyler’s POV
I poked my head into the library before stepping in. No one was there. I mean they shouldn’t be. School started up again for a lot of the children and it’s the middle of the day so most adults are working. I decided to grab some of the older book about witches, hoping that there might be something I missed. I took down a good stack of books and headed over to a table. I chose to start with the big leather bound book, careful to not let any of the loose pages fall out like I’ve accidentally done before. I sat down and opened the book.
I must have only read one page when another much stronger wave of sleepiness rolled through me. This time it was successful and everything went dark.
