Skyler’s POV I grip onto the bathroom sink trying to catch my breath. If I hadn’t stopped Zenith in that moment, I know he would have marked me and I know that would destroy both Kanto and Zenith. It would tear at them knowing how that mark made its way to my neck and how it was against my wishes. I peel my gaze away from the sink to look at myself in the mirror. Blood was trickling down my body from multiple bites and scratches. I go under the sink and grab the first aid kit I stashed there when I hear a knock at the door. “Skyler…are you ok?” Kanto’s soft tone just barely hits my ears. “Skyler please…please come out love.” He pleads against the door, voice cracking ever so slightly. I don’t answer, I don’t trust myself to yet. Instead I move to clean myself up. I hear a light thud on
