I woke up wrapped around Darius, our legs tangled together. Early morning light filtered through the curtains. He was already awake, watching me with soft eyes.
"Good morning," he murmured.
"Morning." I stretched against him. "What time is it?"
"Early enough that no one saw me sneak in here." He kissed my forehead. "But late enough that I should probably leave before Akita comes looking."
