Beatrice pov "We'll expand your training." Kaelen spoke up from his end of the table. "You've got the basics of levitation down. Now we add control exercises for the other abilities." "Today?" My voice squeaked. "No point in waiting." Kaelen smiled. It was his charming smile, the one that usually meant trouble. "The longer these new powers go untrained, the more likely something dangerous happens." He was right. I knew he was right. But the idea of more training, of deliberately trying to use powers I didn't understand, terrified me. "What if I fail?" I asked. "Then you try again." Theron squeezed my hand.
