It took me a while to figure out that the party Anthony talked about two days ago wasn’t actually being held solely for the purpose of the pregnancy. It’s actually the Italian mafia patriarch’s 80th birthday celebration and the news of the baby would be announced there.
Which is great because I was beginning to wonder what an announcement party was. That would have been way to extreme in my opinion. Announcing it on a w******p group chat would have been more ideal but what do I know? These Italians can be way too extra at times.
It’s past 2 p.m. and I and Anthony are all dressed up for the party and ready to go. I’m wearing a black bandage dress and heels and my hair has been styled in a wavy length by a hairstylist Anthony called earlier.
