SONIA’S POV
As soon as Anthony dismisses Josh for the night and we walk through the doors of the elevator, he beelines straight to his room upstairs, not even making it to his office as he does every night I’ve seen or heard him get back from work.
He hasn’t uttered a single word to me since he told me to get in the car. Not even during the drive home.
I know what it must have looked like when he saw me and James together. But then he said he’d observed for a while and saw that I didn’t want to be there so why then has he gone all quiet on me?
Why hasn’t he asked me what happened that I found myself in that situation? Does he not care? Because I sure as hell am tempted to ask questions of my own.
