SONIA’S POV
“Dr. Stacy, you have another appointment in two minutes...” The nurse who just stepped in, pauses at the door to the room, her sentence trailing off.
She probably thinks the silence in the room is as a result of her presence. If she hangs around for another second, she would equally notice the tension hanging on the surface and it’s all thanks to Anthony‘s presence.
I’ve only ever been to my appointments alone so you can imagine the look on Dr. Stacy’s face when I walked in here with Anthony right behind me.
In fact I couldn’t utter a single word to my doctor when Anthony was all too happy to be the one doing it for me.
