Stay By Me (Heart Book Series #1)

Chapter Ten

The girl likes what she hears. She doesn’t know why though. She slowly gets out of bed. She was now at the edge of the bed. The man and woman helped their daughter get up slowly. She heads towards the calendar.

“ Today is suppose to be your birthday “

“ It’s supposed to be a great day. Because, you’ll be blessed with good luck “

The man says to her. The girl nodded. She saw the date. 

“ Winter Solstice“

The girl pointed it out on the calendar.

“ Yes it is. It's a special day. Don’t know how special “

“ Today marks the day of winter solstice“

“ The day of the fullmoon that collide with each other “

The woman spoke to her gently.

“ Today’s date is December 21, 2000. They call that date which is today the ‘ winter solstice ‘ “

The boy explained further as he was super excited about it. The girl nodded trying to process everything in her mind. The woman walked in front of her. 

“ I’m your mother “

The beautiful woman hugged her in a loving way. She separates herself from the girl. Then the handsome man approached her. This time he slowly hugged her.

“ I’m also your father“

The handsome man says as he hugs her gently. The man separated himself from her. The boy approached the girl behind her. He rested his chin on the girl’s head.

“ I’m your big brother “

The boy says as warmth fills her up. After that introduction, the girl’s parents and brother left her alone. The girl’s mother already told her that her clothes are in her closet. They left her alone. She opens her closet. The clothes were so beautiful. But, it wasn’t the clothes she used to wear. For no reason, the girl felt a voice calling out to her. She thought it was coming from behind her. When she turned around, there wasn’t anyone there. She came closer to the clothes in the closet. The voices become stronger. She was the only one who could hear it. A bright glow appears from her closet.

“ Hello there ! I am a fashion fairy. I am here to help you get dress “

A cute voice pops out. It finally shows itself. The girl was the only one who could hear it. It was trying to get other people’s attention. But, they couldn’t hear it. The girl could hear it.

“ I’m surprise that you could see me “

“ You must have strong power sleeping deep within you “

The cute fair says. She nodded in approval. 

“ You can call me Stella. I am your personal fashion fairy“

“ Tell me what do you like to wear today ? “

Stella asked the girl. Before the girl says anything, Stella understands. In a blink of an eye, her set of clothes changes easily. The girl could see the glowing light. It appears through her clothes. 

“ Ahh you could see the magical flow coming from it “

“ It seems you could hear the voices of the clothes “

The girl couldn’t comprehend. So, she just nodded.

“ Since, I don’t know your name. I’ll call you Coco. To me, you smell like fresh coconut and chocolate “

Stella, the fashion fairy says. The clothes that were shining brightly floated out of the closet. Her closet closed. And the fashion fairy went back to sleep. The bedsheet of her bed was already fixed. And her clothes lay on the bed neatly. The girl heads to the bathroom. She stood and took a quick shower. She scrubbed her whole body with soap. At the same time, she put shampoo first. Then, she put on a conditioner. She even watches her private places really well. 

She wants to keep good hygiene. She felt a little bit dizzy. She didn’t want to stay in the shower longer. Coco went out of the bathroom. She picked up the towel by her desk chair. And she wiped everywhere thoroughly. After she took a shower, she tried to grab her clothes. But, it was like something was protecting it. Unknown to herself, she mumbled something underneath her breath. The bright glow from it heard it. It starts to float in the air as she stands up. 

She left the door of the bathroom slightly open. She grabbed her freshly new scent lotion and went to the bathroom. She plugged the hair dryer in the hole in the wall. As she turned on the air dryer, the warmth came out just right. She continues to blow dry her hair. After that, she put lotion all over her body. From her arms, legs, back, etc. It was just right. When she turned around, the clothes were right in front of her. Coco smiled at herself. Then, she smiled at the clothes.

“ Hello there, my new clothes “

She doesn’t know why she talks to herself. Nor did she know why she spoke to her clothes. Either way, the clothes were happy with her response. She sighs. Without hesitation, the clothes had already come onto her. It felt magical. In her own eyes, she could feel that today would be a great day. She turned off the hair dryer. She pulled the plug off gently. And she placed it back in one of the bathroom drawers. She decided she wanted to style her hair. But, before she could do that; she decided to put makeup on. 

She looked at her clothes once more. She could see the colors. It was between red and blue. But, with a hint of black. It kind of reminds her of being in the sun. But at the same time; like looking at the starry night. Coco decided to match her makeup with the colors of her clothes. When she tried to put her makeup on to reach the makeup kit, she felt another bright glow. It had the same effect as the clothes. As she got closer, she heard soft giggles. Up close, she is another tiny fairy. It was cute and beautiful.

“ Hello there, who are you ?“

She spoke to the fairy. The fairy was shocked that humans could see her. 

“ Hello, my name is Estelle. I’m the makeup fairy“

The fairy spoke gently yet soft to Coco. She smiled gently at him.

“ Well hello Estelle. Hmm.. I saw another fairy just like you “

“ I believe she was a fashion fairy. Her name is Stella. Do you know her? “

Coco spoke kindly to Estelle, the make up fairy.

“ Yeah, Stella is my fairy friend. She told me your name is Coco. And that she gave you that name“

Coco didn’t say anything. She just nodded at Estelle’s opinion. Without saying a word, Estelle knew what makeup Coco wanted to use. She thought of makeup that would make her feel confident. But, I also feel special between noble and powerful. So, it would feel like she would feel confident. She put enough foundation not too much but not too little. It just feels right for her. She uses a mixture between shimmer and smokey makeup. She didn’t need to use fake eyelashes. Since, her eyelashes were perfect and long. 

She uses the color of eyeshadows between red and blue with a hint of black. Then, she decided to touch it up by doing a smokey around her eyes. She also decided to put some sparkles into it. She wanted to look like a powerful princess, but with a kind and honest heart. After she put her makeup on, she decided to style her hair this time. She found the iron thing that helps with styling. For this kind, a hair straighter works. She did this for each strand of her hair. 

After she straightened her hair, the clothes were now on her body automatically. She then tries to curl her hair. In which, she took half her hair on the front side to curl it first. Then, she curls some of her hair. But, it’s only half of it. While the rest of it is all straight.  She doesn’t want to burn her hair. Then, she came out of her bathroom. She looked at the mirror again. But, the mirror she saw was near her closet. For her bottom wear, she was wearing a pleated plaid mini skirt. 

The color of the skirt was blue. Then she had a sheer lace of red  knee high socks. It could only reach above her knees. And she was wearing a black ankle boots with heels on. It’s her first time wearing heels. Hopefully, she prayed that she doesn’t fall flat on her face. As for her top wear, she was wearing a notch neck lettuce trim plaid crop tank top. She is also wearing a black leather jean jacket. After that, she decided to wear a pentagram earring with a crescent moon and star. 

Then, she wore a Celtic triple moon necklace choker with amethyst for spirituality. It would make her look so divine. Without thinking, her hair suddenly changed color at will. She didn’t have to use those horrible chemicals to dye her hair. She heard the fairy again. The fairy told her that her hair will change at the same time as she wears the outfit. It was some kind of after effect on their part. After a while, she headed downstairs to the living room. When she arrived at the living room, she saw a lot of people she didn't know. There were eyes everywhere she went. It was like she was walking silently. And they didn’t hear her coming. 

After she reached the kitchen, she didn’t know where the utensils were. However, her mind knows where it is. The memories within her mind were hazy to the core. It felt real and fresh in her memories. As she came down, everyone was already downstairs. They were sitting on the couch. They were having a bonding time. They were watching whatever that interested them. Coco walks past them. The people didn’t say anything, since they didn’t look up. She cooks enough food for everyone. 

For breakfast, she made strawberry and lemon waffles for everyone. She starts making blueberries and banana smoothies. Then, she sets all the food that she cooks on the table. She set it up. Everyone could smell yummy food. As for her, she only took one apple to eat it. And then she drank lemon and cucumber with honey and water. After a few minutes when she was done, she walked up the stairs real quick to brush her teeth. And then do a retouch on her makeup. Then she went back downstairs. She was done with her food. By the time she was by the entrance, she called out to them.

“ Bye mother and father. I’m leaving now “

They turned around at the last minute. And they didn’t see Coco. They heard her. They only wave their hands at them. Since, they were hosting their guests. She just smiled, sighs and left the house. The boy who was Coco’s ‘ brother ‘ came after her.

“ Wait for me ! I’m coming with you too little sister “

“ By mother and father. I’m leaving to go to school with little sister “

And when he says that their parents turn around to say goodbye to him. The girl held in the sadness. She felt out of place. She pretends to be happy. Since, she doesn’t remember them. When the car reached the school, the boy told Coco who his name is.

“ Little sister, since I’m your big brother. You can call me Keane Beau Andrei “

“ Only our family knows that we are related. But, since we go to the same school. Please don’t tell anyone we are brother and sister. We don’t want to attract any danger “

Coco didn’t understand. But, she nodded anyway.

“ Since, you know I’m Keane Andrei. What is your name ? “

Coco tilted her head to the side. Keane sighs. He had a feeling that his little sister didn't remember him. She remembers the name that the fairy calls her. So, she took a deep breath. But, that was the name the fairy calls her though. A name pops up in her mind. It came out naturally.

“ Keane, you could call me Dextera Apollonia“

The name that she thought sounded familiar to her. It was like the name was comfortable to use. The boy nodded right away. After a while, they both got out of the car. They noticed no one was at the parking lot yet. They saw many cars in the parking lot. But, there wasn’t anyone there. They decide to walk inside the building together just to find the principal office. As they entered, the people in the hallway stopped where they were doing. They could hear a lot of gasp here and there.

For girls, they were eye f*cking her brother. While the guys were ogling and whistling to get her attention. They bump into three people. One girl. And identical twin boys. They didn’t look up at them. But, they did apologize to them in advance. After that, they left to the direction that they thought was the office. However; on their way; they felt disgusted at what they saw. They saw other kids their age bullying a group of kids. There were about four to eight kids. It’s either they were weak or some of them were humans.

Keane and Dextera will not judge those groups of kids that were bullied. Keane; on the other hand; he felt his blood start to boil when the girls were being beaten. He could see bruises here and there. Dextera could see the boys protecting the girls. Even though the boys also get beaten. They both sighed. Dextera looked at Keane. And he looked at her. Dextera had a feeling that the girls won’t make it if they get beaten after this. She could sense death coming their way. Keane could see blood and death.

It made him sick. He doesn’t understand why the teachers are not stopping them. He shakes his head in disappointment. Some of the girls felt someone was watching them. One of the girls was staring at Keane’s direction. Her eyes were pleading. It was asking for help silently. In that instant, Keane was very angry to the point that he took a deep breath and roared really loud. It was so loud that the school building was shaking a lot like an earthquake.

“ Oh boy! Those kids should stop “

Dextera shakes her head in displeasure as she sighs. The identical twins and one girl heard her say that.

“ Bullying the weak people will end up getting karma these days “

“ And whoever knows them will get seriously bad luck. Who’s idea is this ? “

“ How are the teachers and adults not seeing this? It disgust me “
