CHAPTER TWO

980 Words
The 'CENTER'. I had heard of it before. If the name wasn't scary enough, I had heard rumors saying that place was for delinquents and some other scary s**t about it been more of a prison than a school. Rumors on the street say the center is for psychopath and once you go in you can never come out the same, but I didn't give a f**k about it, infact I welcomed it, maybe a new environment and been with other delinquents like me will be good, at least I am not the only one crazy. After the police told me every thing about the school I told them that I will go with them if I go to my house and get more clothes and they agreed to it. I could not call that place a home. As I reached my house I immediately saw that my dad was standing in front of the house looking the happiest I had seen in a while and before I could get to the front door he immediate came crashing into me as he hugged. I knew he was only happy that I was leaving and he could finally get rid of me. He decided to help me pack giving an excuse that he wanted to spend time with me before I left, but I knew that he just wanted to speed up the process of getting me out of the house. He helped me with only my clothes because the school's rule is that you bring only your clothes and that the toiletries and any other thing you want will be provided by the school because they don't want us sneaking drugs or knives into the school, but I knew no matter the precautions they take someone will always sneak drugs or a dealer will sell drugs in the school. The journey to the school was quiet and tense, it was never a good Idea to be in a confined space with my father. The first memory of my dad beating me was after all in this same car, I remember asking my dad if he loved my and my answer was a painful hit to my forehead on the dash board. I guess love is a stupid thing and the reward for it is pain. My dad had a permanent grin on his face as we drew closer to the school and by the time we reached the school he stared to laugh. I guess I got my crazy from him. I got down from the car quickly but not before my father told me that he would miss me, but I knew he was lying and would rather me not go to this school so that I will go to prison so he can get rid of me. I carried my luggage out of the car and didn't even look back as I walked away from my father. Huge was an understatement as I looked at the school although it looked more like a catholic church with prisoner. I entered the building as I notice that the angry glares as students looked at me. They looked at me like I was a prey, as if waiting for something to happen. Their hawk eyes watched me like predictor wanting me make a wrong move. They were evil. There were demons. There were hunters. I didn't like the way they were looking at me so I glared back at them, my glare as deadly as their own. I wasn't going to be easily intimidated by them. I knew that I was provoking them but I didn't care, they could glare at me all day for all I care. After all I was just as bad as them may I have even done worse. I knew in this place one single notice of fear can be used against you. Well it was a good thing l was NOT scared of them. Tightened the hold of my I looked for the head teacher's office. I looked for a while before finally coming to the conclusion that I was lost. I couldn't ask for the direction because it was like asking trouble. They will eat you up in this school. Eventually I found the it and I barged inside without knocking the door. As I barged inside the office I saw a man who looked startled but I didn't care. "My name is kings and I am here to collect my schedule and keys to my dorm", I demanded from him. I didn't tell him my name even if he have known it because it was like I was giving out personal information and I didn't want any one to know my name. Perhaps the only good thing my father had done for me was give me a last name that instilled fear and intimidated some people. "So, you are the new student" he said as he observed me and I didn't like it so I glared at him, hard. "Here is your schedule" he said as ignored my glare and gave me my schedule, your dorm room is forty- three right?, here is your key" he said as I did not answer him, the key cold in my hands as I took it from him. "Any other thing you want in this school will be given to you by Mrs Smith, one of your teachers", he said finally as I looked at him. "Any other question?", he asked but I had already walked out of his with a bang to the door without answering his question. I walked with my luggage for a while looking for my dorm room when I suddenly stopped as I realized something, THIS IS MY NEW LIFE Vote, comment and share Hope you like it and I am thinking about putting this story on INKITT. tonbaraMe
