"Mrs Luciano, the kids only have a half day today, don't forget!" The headmaster said as I passed his office.
I peeked my head in and looked at the kind balding man with platinum blonde hair. "Why are they getting half the day off?" I asked curiously.
"Just something we do every year, no special reason." He explained, smiling brightly. "You're free to hang around the school, some kids stay on this day anyways."
I nodded and left to go back to class. I ran out to buy some apple juice while the head girl collected the homework. Usually, there isn't homework. What I give out is for bonus points but almost everyone in the class still does it.
The class is exceptionally noisy but they quiet down when I enter the room.
