Amid my confused brain, I felt like my dad was dragging us out of the residential place. No goodbyes. Not even a time to look around to see the beauty of their home. When I got in the car, I propped myself on the window and inhaled the fresh air. I looked up in the direction of my room, and I saw Albert watching us as we leave. I did not wave. I did not smile.
