Chapter 8 not him

"Alexandra, what are you saying?" The princess was dumb founded. "Please, you must believe me I'd never lie to you." Alexa reasoned. "You have to examine the drink or something."

"What is this chambermaid talking, why would I poison my love." Daniel tried to turn the attention to her.

"Stop lying Dennis." A male voice came from the entrance all eyes went to the source. It was... Daniel? no but Daniel was... twins?

"Daniel?" Cassandra looked more surprised then everyone else. "...One of you is an imposter."

"It's him who is this guy anyways." The one standing next to Cassy said.

"Cassandra, it's me Daniel, that's Dennis, my twin brother-"

"What nonsense are you saying, guards get this imposter out of here."

"Wait, you're the imposter I saw you put something in the princess drink." Alexa cut in.

This just went from weird to crazy.

All this time Cassandra head went low staring at the ground. "One of you is Dennis, Daniel's twin. Daniel told me that Dennis is his evil twin who wanted to take the kingdom because their father wanted to be king."

Cassandra said.

Daniel's dad was right hand man to the king and his son was the princess royal knight While the other son Dennis was the weak son and cared for their family farm on the other side of the town. Dennis was tire of being a nobody to his family and offered to help his dad take over the thorn when he overheard his parents talking. His mom and brother Daniel, were against it and Daniel even threaten to tell the king so they locked him up so he doesn't get in the way.

"He locked me up so I don't get in the way of him and dad's plan to kill you." Cassandra was shocked again. "Yes, remember when that arrow killed your dad? you were there too and he was actually aiming for you but your dad got in the way." Everyone again gasped. well, this is dramatic.

Then suddenly Daniel, I mean Dennis, the twin standing next to Cassy took out a freaking pocket knife and held it at the neck of Cassy.

"Nobody move or else the princess is dead." So this was Dennis. "You're such a cower and a fool taking the side of a girl-"

"If loving someone makes you a fool and a cower then I'm the biggest one out there."

Alexa was in aw at what he said. that was so cute. "Daniel." Cassandra's voice was barely a whisper as she cried. The royal guards took out their swords and shield, suround them while some of them tried to get the guests out of the ballroom.

A guard took the frozen Alexa by her arm. No I came here for a reason, to help this princess. not everyone has love in their life and she has her love and I'm not gonna let her lost it.' Alexa thought. She jerked her arm away from the guard and grabbed the iron jug from the table and hit Dennis on the head from behind. He lost his grip on Cassy and fell to the ground. Cassy ran to Daniel and hugged him tightly while crying.

The guards took the opportunity to hold Dennis, he wasn't moving and Alexa thought the worst.

"Oh no, I didn't kill him did I?" She held her hand to her lips. The guards walked right past her like they didn't see her. "Thank you for saving me, Daniel." Cassy said. Alexa rushed to them. "him? no I saved you and I don't even get a thank you." still no one responded was she invisible or something. Alexa reached out to touch Cassandra but instead her hand passed right through her. She really was invisible. Then suddenly the Amulet around her neck started to glow. Was she going home? guess so.

Xena has been going back and forth like a mad girl for like ten minutes now.

"Librarian, when will she be back?" she asked for the million time in the last ten minutes. "right about..." the Librarian paused. "now." and out of the book came Alexa.

Xena ran to hug her, surprising Alexa. "Alexa, I was so worry." Xena said as she hugged Alexa tightly. "you were worry for me now that's a story to tell." Alexa said hugging Xena back. Xena felt the blood rush to her face as she blushed and pulled away. "Well, I was thinking on what to tell everyone when you don't show up." Xena clean her throat.

"So what happened?"

Alexa began to tell Xena about the story.

"But why did she say that Daniel saved her when it was clearly you?" Alexa was about to answer when...

"The Storyteller does not take part in the story, she only help finish it. You were Daniel and Cassandra's thoughts." The librarian said.

"If you like you can ask the amulet to make you the characters or just their thoughts and emotions."

"So I was never there in the first place? how about all the things I did as a maid?" Alexa asked. "you were a maid and lower class can't be counted in the story." the Librarian said.

"So it's like she never existed in the story, at all." Xena said. "guess so." was all Alexa said.

All the time they've spend in the library was just twenty minutes so Alexa spend ten minutes in the book. Atleast, ten minutes from their world, it was actually two hours or so.

As they left the library Alexa bump into someone. "I'm sorry I..." she looked up to see Xavier. Alexa was again frozen in place but this time she composed herself.

"I'm s...I'm sorry, I...I wasn't looking... it's just that you're so handsome...I mean gorgeous...I mean in the way...and I fell for you...I mean fell on you." Alexa couldn't even speak right. she covered her mouth with her hands and lower her head to avoid his gazed.

Xavier couldn't help but laugh at how silly the girl was but all she could think about was how she just confessed to her crush between her stutters. "Well, I wouldn't mind you falling for me you know." the boy teased the already red face girl. "Xavier why are you everywhere."

Xena to the rescue, again.

The boy looked cut off guard. "oh, well... I um, haven't seen my sister in a while and I kinda missed you?" he gives a sheepish smile and Xena knew he was lying.

"you? Missed me?" Xena give him the 'I'm not buying it' look and he give her the 'you know why I'm here' kinda look.

"I sorry but we're busy completing our task so bye." Xena took Alexa by the arm when Xavier took her by the other arm. Electricity went through Alexa at the touch of Xavier.

"wait, it's Jake." Xavier said. No not that trash. "He's here at camp and keep asking everyone for you, Alexa." This was the last thing she wanted right now. "And he even said that he'll beat up any guy who gets close to you because you're his girlfriend."

Alexa felt anger run through her blood and she turn to face Xavier. "Where is he?" her question made them surprised. why would she want to see him?
