Chapter 7 decision

While Xena was literally freaking out on what to tell everyone when they asked where Alexa was, Alexa was in an unknown Castle dressed in a maids clothing.

It looked like she was in the 16th century or something. Alexa was admiring the big and beautiful Castle when suddenly...

"What are you doing get back to work you lazy rat." She turned to see a very fat and cranky lady. her face looked terrifying and Alexa knew she was in charged here. "What am I to do?" Alexa asked. Of course, she didn't know any roots of this place. "Why, I never thought being the princess personal maid will make you this arrogant, Alexandra." Wait, did she just called her name.

"You know my name? but-"

"Are you sick. Tonight's the princess coronation and you as her personal maid have to get her ready." The woman looked very mad but also anxious. Coronation? Was she to be queen?

"I'm sorry... madam the coronation also got me anxious. I'm the one whose gonna be styling our beautiful princess and I'm nervous too." Alexa had to play along.

"Don't give me that tone of yours girl." the lady suddenly said. What tone?

"I'm sorry, I'll head to my princess's room right now." The only problem was, she didn't know where the princess room was. She turn back to the lady to find her gone. "um... okay I guess I'll head to..." She looked around but only saw maids and butlers heading left and right rushing to prepare for the coronation. "Alexandra!" She heard a high pitched voice called out to her. She turned to see a blonde girl heading her way. her hair was in a bud just like everyone else, just like alexa.

"Alexandra, help me with some of these will you."

Alexa took some of the boxes from the girl. they were not that heavy but there were a lot, maybe ten or more.

"We're taking them to Princess Cassandra to choose for her coronation, I can't believe she's gonna be queen today." The blonde girl started walking up the stairs and Alexa followed her.

They reached a big door and the girl knocked on it. They heard a come in before she opened the door.

"Princess Cassandra, your dresses are here."

"Thank you Kelly." The princess replied without turning to see who else was with the girl who's name was kelly. "You may leave and please send Alexandra up." She said again without looking back. "funny because she's right here." The princess glanced at Alexa before turning back to face the window.

Kelly left them alone. "Alexa, what should I do, Daniel and his family are leaving tonight and I'll never see him again." The princess cried when Kelly left. "I want to go with him but his father killed my father and my mother is not strong enough to run the kingdom. Of I leave who will run the kingdom in this state.

Alexa felt sorry for the princess who by the way she didn't know and was glad that someone in this castle actually called her Alexa. Maybe they were close friends or something. "I know how you feel but you have to think about what you want, Cassy." She didn't know why she called the princess Cassy but it somehow felt right.

"I want to be with the one I love but I also want to be queen and not let my kingdom go."

Alexa suddenly thought on Xavier and how she had to let him go. Of course, she cried like crazy but she got over it. They were never together in the first place but still it was like a breakup.

"Sometimes you just have to let go of some people. Yes, it will be hard but time heals all wound." Alexa said. "But what if it leaves an ugly scar." Cassy suddenly approached Alexa looking like a desperate child. "Then you'll have the best stories to tell." Alexa was trying to lighten up the atmosphere but the princess seem more and more sad and anxious.

"I don't know if you've noticed but everyone is going crazy over your coronation." Alexa said. "Daniel said that if I don't leave with. him tonight I'll never see him again but if I leave my kingdom my mom will have to run it and she's currently in a state of depression after losing her husband." Cassy explained.

"I'm sorry to say but if this Daniel guy is gonna be such a jerk about you being awesome then he's definitely not worth it." Alexa said. "What do you mean?" the princess asked. "So his parents were banished and was he also banished?" Alexa asked.

"He my personal knight and he's loyal to the royal family so he was to stay."

"So why is he leaving." Alexa asked. this was now so confusing. "He says he doesn't want to leave his family in this type of time, no matter what they are still his parents."

Why would he chose traders over the love of his life.

"I once had a chush and I thought it was true love." Alexa said. "But he loved someone else."

She was trying not to cry at this point. "My grandma always tell me, if they love you, they'll always call me back. if Daniel really loves you he'll stay by your side and prove his loyalty." Alexa said. "So you're saying I should stay and be queen?" A tear escaped her eye.

"I'm telling you not to be a cower but a queen. It's time to make a decision." Wow Alexa sounded like her mom?

"You're right Alexa, I'll stay and be queen." Cassy wiped the tear from her face and stood up straight. "I mean being queen is not everyday right." They both chuckle and Alexa got to preparing Cassy. Thank goodness she knew how to apply makeup. She did a natural nude make up on Cassy, she was already beautiful. and she put pins on one side of her hair and let Cassy's long curly black hair fall.

After looking at all the dresses Cassy chose a beautiful royal blue dress. "Cassandra, you're gonna be the talk of the town."

Alexa went down stairs to help serve the guests. She never thought she would be doing these things at all. it was fun but she kept thinking about how she would leave the story. Maybe when she ends it she would automatically leave like how she came.

When Cassy descend the stairs, everyone looked at her and how beautiful she was. She looked down at the crowd like she was searching for someone and she smiled when she looked like she found them. It was a boy

with brown hair and brown eyes. 'So that's Daniel.' Alexa thought.

Alexa thought that he looked a little suspicious she was cautious about the thought. She already helped Cassandra decide but she hasn't left the story yet. Maybe I haven't done something right. She decided to keep an eye on Daniel, at first nothing seems off but she noticed that he had his hand in his left Pocket, weird.

Finally, Cassy was crowd Queen and Alexa couldn't be more happy for her. It was time for her for dance and Cassy was making her way over to Daniel for her first dance. He was standing by the table with his back turn to her.

Alexa saw him take a small container out of his pocket and empty something into the wine. She knew all too well that it was poison.

Oh no, was he gonna give it to Cassy. No he can't kill her she just became Queen.

Daniel turned and handed the glass to Cassandra and she didn't suspect a thing. Alexa without thinking, ran to them and knocked the glass from Cassy's hand and everyone turned to look at her. Alexa, didn't even notice them staring.

"Alexandra, what's wrong." She just noticed that Cassy always called her Alexandra in public. "Cass... I mean Princess Cassandra."

Alexa bow slightly. "Forgive me but this man wanted to poison you, I saw him put something in your drink." Everyone in the hall gasped in surprised.
